Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using order lists or RF scanners.
- Locate items within the warehouse according to specified locations.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in your assigned picking zones.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and utilize required PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues immediately.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as stocking or replenishing.
- Practice safe lifting techniques and adhere to lifting restrictions.
- Contribute to team goals and efficient logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
