Overview:
Laserglow is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to lead strategic growth within the automotive and heavy‑duty manufacturing sector. Based in Michigan, this role focuses on expanding our presence with major OEMs and suppliers through deep account engagement, technical solution selling, and long‑term value creation.
You will be responsible for penetrating high‑potential accounts, developing multi‑site strategies, and building relationships with senior stakeholders across operations, engineering, and EH&S. The ideal candidate will be well‑networked in Michigan’s auto ecosystem, strategic and enterprise minded.
What You’ll Do
Own and grow a portfolio of high‑value accounts (OEM, Tier 1s and Manufacturers)
Deliver tailored safety and automation solutions to enterprise clients.
Lead cross‑functional collaboration to support solution implementation.
Close high‑value, long‑cycle deals that deliver measurable ROI for your clients.
What You Bring
10+ years of B2B sales or key account management in the automotive/heavy‑duty manufacturing space
Deep understanding of Tier 1 supplier networks, OEM dynamics, and plant operations
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Experience with technical or safety‑related product lines is a strong asset
Strong CRM & ERP discipline, ability to maintain accurate records and forecast pipeline effectively
Knowledge of industrial safety technologies or capital equipment.
Familiarity with Michigan‑based automotive supply chain networks.
Experience managing long sales cycles and value‑based selling.
