What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Investigate, research, and conclude subrogation recovery for automobile losses
Handle various types of automobile subrogation claims, focusing on lower complexity recoveries
Initiate and hear arbitration between companies on disputed liability and damage claims
Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while maintaining regulatory compliance
Conduct oneself professionally and uphold the company’s values
What is Required (Qualifications)
3+ years of automotive claims liability experience required
Strong customer service and negotiation skills
Proficient analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to type 50 wpm and work in a team environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
General understanding of different lines of coverage (e.g., homeowners, auto, personal property)
Advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related area, or equivalent experience
Excellent communication skills with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Active participation in company culture initiatives and employee resource groups
