Key Responsibilities Under moderate supervision, the Virtual Sales Specialist (VSS) is responsible for outbound marketing, disease state identification and education, and inbound customer support in a virtual pharmaceutical environment. The VSS implements the client’s marketing plan, delivers sales presentations to a defined list of current and prospective customers, plans and organizes activities to ensure regular territory coverage, and ensures compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements.

Execute client-directed outbound calls, emails, and virtual strategic interactions with assigned targets and prospective customers to deliver effective sales presentations.

Develop a daily/weekly call schedule to ensure efficient and comprehensive coverage of assigned targets.

Maintain accurate records of all interactions, including calls, emails, and appointments in the CRM system.

Clearly articulate the clinical benefits and value of the product to HCPs and office staff using educational resources and support materials.

Foster trust and credibility through consistent, professional communication in a virtual setting with HCPs and office staff.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree minimum required.

Minimum 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with a history of documented success.

Expert selling skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.

Experience in a high pressure and fast paced environment.

Preferred

Strong preference for 1+ years of virtual/inside healthcare sales experience.

Strong understanding of medical and scientific concepts, with the ability to quickly learn and convey complex product information to healthcare professionals.

Ability to work independently and as a team member while managing multiple tasks across multiple systems.

Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 base salary. Eligibility for commissions/bonus based on company and individual performance.
