What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Investigate, research, and conclude subrogation recovery for automobile losses
Handle various types of automotive damage, disputed liability, and cross-jurisdictional claims
Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while maintaining regulatory compliance
Initiate and hear arbitration between companies on disputed claims
Display professional conduct and values consistent with the employer
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
Strong customer service and negotiation skills
High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to type 50 words per minute
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or related area, or equivalent experience
General understanding of different lines of coverage (e.g., homeowners, auto, personal property)
Excellent communication skills with people from diverse backgrounds
Willingness to engage in company culture initiatives, such as employee resource groups
