Subrogation Specialist (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Investigate, research, and conclude subrogation recovery for automobile losses
Handle a variety of automotive damage claims, including disputed liability and cross-jurisdictional issues
Negotiate and finalize recovery settlements while adhering to regulatory compliance
Initiate and manage arbitration processes between companies for disputed claims
Evaluate and determine appropriate collection methods for claims
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
Strong customer service and negotiation skills
Proficient analytical, problem‑solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or related field, or equivalent experience
General understanding of different lines of coverage (i.e., homeowners, auto, personal property)
Excellent communication skills with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Active participation in company culture initiatives (e.g., employee resource groups, volunteering)
