Subrogation Specialist (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Investigate, research, and conclude subrogation recovery for automobile losses
Handle an inventory of automotive damage, disputed liability, and cross-jurisdictional claims
Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while ensuring regulatory compliance
Initiate and hear arbitrations between companies on disputed claims
Evaluate and settle auto claims within draft authority
What is Required (Qualifications):
3+ years of automotive claims liability experience
Strong customer service and negotiation skills
Proficient analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to type 50 wpm and strong oral and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
General understanding of different lines of coverage (i.e., homeowners, auto, personal property)
Advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or related area, or equivalent experience
Excellent communication skills with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Participation in employee resource groups or community volunteering
