What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Investigate, research, and conclude subrogation recovery for automobile losses
Handle an inventory of automotive damage, disputed liability, and cross-jurisdictional claims
Initiate and hear arbitration between companies on disputed claims
Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while ensuring regulatory compliance
Conduct themselves professionally and embody the values of the employer
What is Required (Qualifications):
3+ years of automotive claims liability experience
General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
Strong customer service and negotiation skills
Proficient analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related area, or equivalent experience
General understanding of different lines of coverage (e.g., homeowners, auto)
Excellent communication skills and respect for diverse backgrounds
Active participation in company culture initiatives such as employee resource groups
