Subrogation Specialist (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Investigate, research, and conclude subrogation recovery for automobile losses
Handle an inventory of automotive damage, disputed liability, and cross-jurisdictional claims
Negotiate and settle recovery settlements in compliance with regulations
Conduct arbitration hearings on disputed liability and damage claims
Determine appropriate collection methods for claims
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance
Strong customer service and negotiation skills
High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to type 50 words per minute and work effectively in a team environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
General understanding of different lines of coverage (i.e., homeowners, auto, personal property)
Advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or related area, or equivalent experience
Excellent communication skills with respect for diverse backgrounds
Active participation in company culture initiatives and teamwork
