Job Responsibilities
Investigate, research, and conclude subrogation recovery for automobile losses
Manage an inventory of automotive damage and disputed liability claims
Negotiate and finalize recovery settlements while adhering to regulatory compliance
Conduct arbitration hearings on disputed claims as necessary
Evaluate and determine appropriate collection methods for claims
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
Strong customer service and negotiation skillsProficient analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
General understanding of different lines of coverage, such as homeowners and personal property
Excellent communication skills with a respect for diverse backgrounds
Active participation in company culture initiatives, such as employee resource groups
