The Financial Office Specialist is responsible for supporting financial operations and human resources processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role involves approving transactions, processing payroll, reconciling statements, and assisting with HR-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Approves financial transactions, processes payroll, and deposits of funds.
Ensures expenses and revenue are posted to proper accounts.
Reconciles and analyzes financial statements.
Identifies, researches, and corrects questionable financial activity.
Serves as process support for human resources in the areas of seasonal employees, training and compliance, and employee review.
Prepares standardized and specialized financial reports and analyses.
Assists with the development and implementation of systems and procedures.
Qualifications
Experience in financial operations, payroll processing, and account reconciliation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with HR processes and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
$31.05 hourly pay rate, 37.5 hours a week, normal working hours varying between 8AM-530PM.
