As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving and preparing customer orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a handheld scanner or order sheet.
- Locate products within the warehouse using efficient picking routes.
- Pack items securely and safely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues with orders or inventory to supervisors.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Must be comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
