Reports to: Sales Leader

Responsibilities

Acquire new, profitable commercial business to meet and exceed monthly sales targets.

Identify and qualify leads through research, cold calling, and lead source generation.

Manage prospects throughout the sales cycle, nurturing relationships and converting leads into new customers.

Utilize Salesforce CRM daily, scheduling and documenting all sales activities.

Develop detailed customer profiles to facilitate effective sales conversations.

Negotiate and close business by effectively communicating LRS’s unique value proposition and overcoming objections.

Manage post‑sale administrative tasks to ensure a smooth customer onboarding experience.

Stay current on market trends and competitor activities to anticipate customer needs.

Meet regularly with the Sales Leader to review weekly activity and opportunities.

Develop in‑depth industry and company knowledge to achieve targeted revenue goals and contribute to overall company objectives.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

1+ year experience in a B2B sales role or a related field.

Proven history of exceeding sales targets.

Good understanding of the waste and recycling industry.

Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM platform.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Highly motivated, self‑directed and results oriented.

Physical Demands / Environmental Factors

Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear.

Occasionally required to stand and walk.

Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Sporadic local travel required.

Hourly compensation: $24.00 to $26.45.
