Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), a Danaher operating company, is at the forefront of life‑sciences innovation, delivering products that accelerate progress in genomics across fields such as cancer, infectious disease, and rare genetic disorders.
The Inside Sales Representative will proactively promote IDT’s full portfolio—including custom oligonucleotide solutions—and drive revenue growth through strategic account management in the Northeast region. This role is eligible for a remote work arrangement.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage assigned accounts, anticipating both short‑term and long‑term customer needs to position IDT products and services.
Prospect for new leads, prepare outbound sales information, and secure new customers to achieve profit and revenue goals.
Effectively sell solutions, uncover customer needs, and maintain strategic partnerships with key customers, leveraging internal resources to maximize satisfaction.
Utilize CRM and funnel management tools to forecast business, manage sales opportunities, build opportunity pipeline, and support business decisions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a life‑science discipline or equivalent experience; business degree with relevant life‑science industry experience; or Master’s degree in life science.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a life‑science market, preferably in a customer‑oriented sales role.
Willingness to travel up to 20 % of the time, including quarterly customer visits.
Preferred: Experience with Salesforce CRM; laboratory knowledge in NGS, CRISPR, PCR, or synthetic biology.
Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $60,000 – $65,000 with eligibility for bonus or incentive pay.
