LHH is partnering with a reputable law firm to identify an experienced
Commercial Real Estate Legal Assistant
for its Orlando, FL office. This is a full‑time, in‑office role supporting multiple attorneys within a sophisticated commercial real estate practice. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, exceptional organizational skills, strong drafting abilities, and the confidence to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision. Key Responsibilities:
Communicate with clients and other parties by phone and email Maintain attorney calendars; schedule and coordinate meetings Enter attorney billing in timekeeping software Process expense reports; track and submit invoices for payment Draft and edit real estate documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, conveyance documents, and related correspondence Prepare closing statements and review statements prepared by others Prepare closing disbursement requests and wire authorizations Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to assemble closing packages and assist with post‑closing binders Maintain real estate transaction records and organize physical and electronic files Prepare local and state government permit applications Maintain attorney lobbyist registration accounts and prepare annual expenditure reports Perform additional administrative duties as assigned Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant in commercial real estate or a similar transactional practice (required) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PDF software (required) Experience with document management and legal accounting software (required); iManage experience preferred Highly detail‑oriented with the ability to manage shifting priorities Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively independently or in a team Florida Notary (preferred) Details:
