FAR INSPECTIONS
Overview
FAR Inspections is seeking highly motivated independent contractors to perform residential occupancy verifications on behalf of mortgage lenders in Reno, NV.
Responsibilities
Conduct exterior only inspections, typically 5-6 minutes.
Complete inspection within 4 days of assignment.
Determine occupancy status and report general property condition using a mobile app.
Take 9+ photos with brief comments.
Fill out a short form in the app.
Drive extended periods, making numerous stops within assigned territory.
Requirements
Computer with internet connection.
Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage beneficial as you pay for your own gas).
Smartphone (Android or iPhone).
Printer.
Pass a standard background check with a valid driver's license.
Compensation & Hours 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate, varying by county and volume. Equivalent hourly rate $30-$40. Work 2-30 hours per week; 20-500 inspections per month depending on county.
No mileage reimbursement beyond flat fee per inspection.
