What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage all claims efficiently and effectively to an appropriate resolution with minimal supervision.
Handle all aspects of liability injury claims of low to moderate complexity.
Assist in taking first notice of loss calls (FNOL) and participate in the department phone queue as needed.
Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively with insureds and claimants.
Communicate pertinent case facts to supervisors or management when appropriate.
What is Required (Qualifications)
2+ years of Casualty claims experience or a minimum of 2 years of claims experience including 1+ year of Commercial claims experience.
High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry.
Required to acquire and/or maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses (state‑specific) within the first 90 days of employment.
Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong computer navigation abilities.
Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
3+ years of Casualty claims handling experience.
Prior experience with Commercial policies.
BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area.
Flexibility to work any shift during operating hours, including evenings and weekends.
Capability to complete training and perform the job in a remote setting.
