Insurance Agent (Base salary + Uncapped commissions)
Comparion Insurance Agency is seeking a motivated Licensed Sales Agent to join our growing team in the Greensboro, NC area. This is a remote role focused on building strong local relationships and in‑person community relationship building. Responsibilities
Generate new business through networking, prospecting, and building a customer base. Maintain and grow existing client relationships and relationships with carrier partners. Qualify and present insurance products such as Auto, Home, and Life to prospective and existing customers. Work remotely while representing agency relationships in the community and ensuring compliance with agency policies. Qualifications
Active property, casualty, and life insurance licenses prior to employment. Prior experience with networking/prospecting and building a sales pipeline. Excellent written and oral communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills. Strong time‑management, organizational and learning abilities for insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines. Proven relationship‑building with clients and an intuitive ability to lead and collaborate with colleagues. Preferred Experience
Previous sales experience turning prospects into customers. State insurance license – willing to obtain prior to starting. Compensation & Benefits
Typical training salary $50k – $60k; potential first‑year total compensation $55k – $75k; top performers can earn over $100k. Uncapped base salary plus commissions and bonuses. Paid training including licensing, mentorship, sales support, and commission for leads even if other team members close deals.
