What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop and manage the U.S. event strategy and calendar for owned, sponsored, and third‑party conferences
Plan and execute events from start to finish, including budgeting, staffing, and on‑site operations
Collaborate with Sales and Business Units to select events and orchestrate executive engagement
Amplify the brand through securing speaking slots, awards, and ensuring consistent brand expression
Measure success metrics, run A/B tests, and optimize event portfolio mix and tactics
What is Required (Qualifications)
6–10+ years of experience in B2B tech events (enterprise SaaS, services, or adjacent)
Proven ability to convert events into pipeline, with fluency in lead flow and ROI attribution
Experience with large‑scale conferences and targeted field events
Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills with Sales, Marketing, and Senior Executives
Excellent content instincts for abstracts, customer stories, and session narratives
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with major conferences such as Dreamforce, Gartner, RSA, or AWS re:Invent
Builder‑operator mindset, comfortable with both strategy and execution
Strong storytelling sensibility that enhances brand presence and engagement
