Location Albany Campus, Albany, OR
Job Summary This position will support faculty and students in the Business, Education and Liberal Arts Division. Primarily duty expectations are monitoring workroom inventory in NSH, SSH, and MKH, assisting with printing and copier needs and any projects assigned by faculty, administrative assistant or dean. This position will also assist in maintaining camera and laptop system records, including checkout and returns.
Required Qualifications Education and Experience
Must maintain enrollment in at least 6 credits at LBCC, maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout each term, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better, and have financial aid in place to be eligible to work in a Work Study student employee capacity at Linn-Benton Community College.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Requires basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Drive, email, and Canva.
Working knowledge of copy machines.
Ability to communicate professionally with a variety of people.
Must be self-motivated and sign confidentiality agreements.
Must be able to communicate with administrative assistants, dean, faculty, staff, and students, work well independently and with others.
Ability to interact sensitively and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with marketing and document editing, Xerox copy machines, and inventory maintenance preferred.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
May occasionally lift light to medium weight items, with or without assistance.
Work is performed indoors with no exposure to safety and health hazards.
Considerable time may be spent working at a computer.
On campus support of staff and students.
Work well independently and with others.
Provide support working in a shared Google Drive folder.
Follow instructions and other duties as they arise.
