What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and agencies in the assigned territory through various communication methods
Drive sales efforts by managing the end-to-end process to ensure a positive experience for brokers and their clients
Identify and pursue growth opportunities within the territory to expand the employer's footprint
Develop and manage broker partnerships, enhancing engagement and expanding the network of contacts
Serve as a subject matter expert in group health benefits and markets, providing strategic insights to brokers and agency partners
What is Required (Qualifications)
A bachelor’s degree is preferred
Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience, preferably in Group Health sales or marketing
Must be able to obtain a Life and Health license in applicable states
Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment with a strong desire for career growth
Willingness to travel up to 15% to engage with agents and brokers within the assigned territory
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in Group Health sales or marketing
Background in other sales roles or military service
