What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Perform complex data analysis for commercial insurance to support overall business objectives
Conduct various analyses, including root cause, cost benefit, and performance tracking, to generate actionable insights
Collaborate with client groups to identify business needs and present findings to senior leaders
Partner with IT to provide business definitions, data architectural inputs, and perform User Acceptance Testing
Create and maintain key business intelligence artifacts, ensuring accuracy and logic
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of 6 years of directly related analytical experience in a related industry
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science, or equivalent
Superior research, statistical, analytical, and mathematical skills with the ability to conduct analyses
Strong oral and written communication skills, with effective presentation abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, Visual Basic, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Advanced degree in a related field and/or CPCU designation
Commercial insurance experience
Working knowledge of R or Python
Experience with automating repetitive tasks
Demonstrated ability to shape company culture through participation in employee initiatives
