What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Perform complex data analysis for commercial insurance to support overall business objectives

Conduct various types of analyses, including root cause, cost benefit, and performance tracking

Consult with client groups to identify business needs and prepare findings and recommendations

Collaborate with IT partners to provide business definitions and perform User Acceptance Testing

Create and maintain key business intelligence artifacts, ensuring accuracy and logical consistency

What is Required (Qualifications)

6+ years of directly related analytical experience in the insurance industry

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science, or equivalent

Superior research, statistical, analytical, and mathematical skills

Strong oral and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Advanced degree in a related field and/or CPCU designation

Experience in commercial insurance

Familiarity with R or Python

Experience with automating repetitive tasks

Previous leadership and mentoring experience
