What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Perform complex data analysis for commercial insurance to support overall business objectives
Collaborate with various departments to research findings and develop actionable plans
Prepare and present findings and recommendations to senior leaders
Partner with IT teams to define business needs and perform User Acceptance Testing
Create and maintain key business intelligence artifacts, ensuring accuracy and logic
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 6 years of directly related analytical experience in a related industry
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science, or equivalent experience
Strong research, statistical, analytical, and mathematical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, Visual Basic, and data visualization tools
Knowledge of insurance, accounting, and rate‑making concepts
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Advanced degree in a related field and/or CPCU designation
Commercial insurance experience
Working knowledge of R or Python
Experience with automating repetitive tasks
Leadership and mentoring experience
