What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Assist customers inside and outside the U-Haul center with products and services
Utilize smartphone-based technology to manage rentals and inventory
Clean, inspect, and maintain U-Haul equipment, including trucks and trailers
Prepare rental invoices and process returned equipment
Participate in continuous education and training through U-Haul University
What is Required (Qualifications):
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting equipment weighing at least 50 lbs.
Willingness to use safety equipment and follow safety protocols
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Previous customer service experience
Familiarity with rental equipment or related services
Basic mechanical skills or knowledge
Ability to operate a forklift (certification provided upon employment)
Willingness to obtain certifications for propane filling and hitch installations
