
Lease Analyst, Commercial Real Estate

Overview
Due to our rapidly expanding Commercial Real Estate portfolio, we have immediate openings for experienced Lease Analystsin our Virginia Beach, VA office.
This is an integral Team Member on our Lease Administration Team providing First Class Service to our Property Managers, Brokers, and Clients for a commercial property portfolio.
The ideal candidate for this position is a motivated self-starter with commercial property experience, strong accounting skills, attention to detail, and superior organizational and time management skills, enjoys working independently as well as collaboratively with accounting and property management team members. This position requires a candidate who takes initiative and provides accurate, detailed work products in a time-sensitive manner.
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed lease abstracts, interpret and research commercial lease language,
Review and process Operating Expense reconciliations (CAM, taxes, insurance, and utilities) ensuring lease compliance,
Financial analysis to include computing cost analysis, variance, and account reconciliation,
Project income recoveries for annual budgets,
Maintain Rent Rolls and all financial billings required per lease terms.
Qualifications Successful Candidate will possess the following:
4+ years commercial real estate experience (Real Estate Accounting preferred) or any similar combination of education and experience
Strong analytical skills, logic and experience with complex lease language
Working knowledge of legal documents including lease agreements and amendments
Advanced proficiency with Excel
Working knowledge of YARDI preferred
College courses in accounting/finance a plus
Must pass background and drug screening
