Our client is currently seeking a Residential Drafter to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position. Responsibilities
Oversee the development of designs for residential homes. Ensure a thorough structural analysis. Production and review of construction drawings. Assist in cost estimation by way of partial working drawings. Ensure drawings are in compliance with all building codes and practices. Ensure processing of permit applications. Ensure files are thoroughly organized. Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of single-family residential project experience. Must have experience with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Javelin. Experience with the construction of detached single-family residences. Experience as a superintendent, builder, or project manager is preferred. Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM). Working knowledge of New York State codes and guidelines. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Hours & Benefits
