Does that sound like you?/ppThe opportunity with McKinstry/ppWe are adding an Account Executive to our growing Technical Services team in the Dallas, TX area. Are you a driven and highly motivated sales professional passionate about the built environment? We seek a dynamic and experienced Account Executive to join our team of high-performing sales professionals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the industry by offering consultative sales solutions to our clients in the built environment. Were looking for someone with proven sales success or someone who comes from the buyers side in local government, K-12, higher education or healthcare, or finally someone who has technical expertise and looking to pivot into sales./ppIn this role, your day-to-day will consist of:/pulliDeveloping and executing a sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets./liliBuilding solid relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the built environment./liliDelivering consultative sales solutions to meet the unique needs of each client./liliStaying up-to-date with industry trends and innovations and sharing this knowledge with clients./liliCollaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless sales experience for our clients./li/ulpThis role is part of a Technical South Sales team that has a work-hard, play-hard mentality. The team is a great combination of technical expertise, sales experience and passion for what we do. We are constantly helping each other improve individually and as a team. Our success and passion allow us to have a lot of fun during work and after. We also have a great support team of marketing professionals and sales support that enables our sales team to be out with more clients and prepared for each meeting. This support allows our sales team to maximize their production and increase annual compensation. As part of a small team, there will be many opportunities for career advancement as we grow together./ppWhat you need to succeed at McKinstry/pulli1-3 years of proven sales experience with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding targets. Or, have personal network and purchasing experience coming from the buyers side within local government, K-12, higher education or healthcare./liliBachelors degree in business, engineering, construction management or equivalent business experience required./liliKnowledge of building infrastructure systems, facility management, and critical facilities such as data centers required./liliKnowledge of financial acumen required./liliA deep understanding of the built environment and the challenges faced by our clients./liliStrong consultative sales skills and the ability to build relationships and trust with key stakeholders./liliThe ability to understand and articulate complex technical solutions to non-technical clients./liliExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills./liliA self-starter mentality with a drive to continuously learn and grow./li/ulpIf you are a highly motivated and results-driven sales professional with a passion for the built environment, we would love to hear from you. Base pay information is based on market location.
