Additional responsibilities may include:/ppManagement/pulliPerforms oversight on all activities, project functions, and the resources needed./liliDefines project assignments for team members./liliServes as a primary point of contact with the customer during the projects implementation./liliHas financial responsibility for the projects - including accurate, timely, and salient reporting to stakeholders./liliActs as a steward of all company policies and procedures./liliResponds to stakeholders with accurate and timely information to facilitate company decision-making./liliExercises global decision making by considering other departments within the company such as project management, sales and estimating, accounting, purchasing, etc./li/ulpProject Controls/pulliFacilitates invoice payments from clients and ensures timely payment of subcontractors./liliResponsible for all pre-construction budgets/estimates./liliPrepares client and subcontractor change orders./liliPrepares monthly project accounting review (ETC)./liliEnsures projects are completed on schedule./liliMonitors and proofs change issue log./li/ulpTeam Management/pulliSelects, develops, coaches and manages staff./liliDevelops positive working relationships with craft foremen and other field personnel who are assigned to projects./liliMeets with each trades foreman and reviews the project as the design develops./li/ulpBusiness Development and Client Relations/pulliEffectively manages a percentage of the annual sales based on department needs./liliProvides support to the customer with regards to project financials, contractual and technical issues./liliWorks with a large client base including the owner and business leaders for the company./liliTakes ownership of projects as assigned by Business Unit Manager./li/ulpDepartment Leadership/pulliResponsible for leading a specific area of focus for the business as directed by the Business Unit Manager./liliResponsible for successful implementation of departmental strategic initiatives. Other duties as assigned./li/ulh3What You Need To Succeed At McKinstry/h3ulliMust have demonstrated proficiency for all the responsibilities of a Senior Preconstruction Executive./liliBachelors Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience is required./liliTen (10) years of project management experience in construction is required./liliFive (5) years managing a team is required./liliAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio required./liliProficient with scheduling software: Microsoft Project, Primavera, and/or Suretrak required./liliRCDD, CPM professional designation is preferred./liliWorking knowledge of SharePoint preferred./liliKnowledge of applicable codes required./liliKnowledge of equipment selection procedures. $227,525 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
