KLAS has an immediate opening for a digital/television advertising sales account executive./ppThe Sales Account Executive will have at least 3 years of advertising sales experience. The ideal candidate will have an extensive working knowledge of digital and television advertising best practices and procedures for effectively managing and growing new business./ppEssential Duties
Responsibilities:/pulliSell multiplatform advertising campaigns utilizing KLAS-TV, 8newsnow.com and Nexstars suite of digital marketing services including CTV/OTT, email, SEO/SEM, social and more/liliMeet or exceed revenue targets for multiple business categories as well as corporate initiatives by developing a personal plan to support achievement of goals/liliProvide superior client service through efficient and proactive communication, order management and post-campaign reporting/liliDevelop a strong new business prospect list and actively and consistently make new business calls/liliEffectively manage proposal requests, rate negotiation, preemptions and makegoods under tight deadlines/liliPrepare and present effective multiplatform proposals to close new business/liliSupport collection of receivables/liliFollow all station procedures for order entry, trafficking, reporting and billing/liliRegularly update CRM with activities, contacts and pending business/liliPerforms other duties as assigned/li/ulpCandidates will demonstrate the following skills:/pulliKnowledge of Nielsen and/or Comscore audience measurement in relation to digital and television advertising/liliKnowledge of both digital and television advertising products and capabilities/liliStrong time management skills and attention to detail/liliEffective relationship building, customer service, communication and negotiation skills/liliAbility to quickly recover from adversity and rejection/liliAbility to effectively communicate, build rapport and relate well to all kinds of people/liliPassion for contributing to a sales team with a positive mindset and collaborative spirit/li/ulpRequirements:/pulliCollege degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience/liliMinimum of 3 years of experience in advertising sales is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of business-to-business sales is essential./liliProficiency with Microsoft Office. Must be comfortable creating and working with basic documents in Excel and PowerPoint/liliExperience with Wide Orbit is a plus/liliReliable transportation, valid drivers license and a satisfactory driving record/liliProfessional appearance is a must/li/ulpPhysical Demands
