
Role Summary
The Key Account Executive will implement the defined strategy of the Vaccine BU to drive sustainable growth in Vietnam from a commercial perspective, with a focus on managing key accounts. The role requires developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners, coordinating across field, brand, activation, and medical teams to ensure a unified Takeda voice. You will manage territory performance, engage key stakeholders, and drive data-informed decision making to support Takeda’s vaccine portfolio.
Responsibilities
Territory and Key Account Management: take accountability for in-market sales volume and growth across all channels; identify key customers and growth drivers; develop Joint Corporation Plans with key customers; build long-lasting relationships and deliver tailored solutions; collaborate with field force, brand, activation, and MSL teams to present a unified Takeda image.
Stakeholder Engagement and Management: organize two-way communication with clients; engage internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute strategic plans for key accounts; serve as primary commercial contact for KOLs, HCPs, HCOs, CDCs, hospitals, institutes, and vaccination centers; coordinate with Strategic Planner, Activation, and MSL on planning and engagement.
Commercial Performance Excellence: conduct commercial activities per Joint Corporation Plan; provide timely data to HCPs and hospital decision makers; coordinate with internal functions to address product data, supply, scientific engagement, and PV matters; provide monthly in-market sales forecasts; collect e-consents for omnichannel activities; manage tenders; ensure zero non-compliance.
Market Intelligence & Business Insights: monitor market information and trends; provide feedback to field leaders, Marketing, and Medical teams to inform brand planning and JCP; make data-driven decisions and plans.
AI & Digital Competency: leverage digital tools and AI-driven insights to enhance performance; engage customers via digital channels; use platforms like Veeva CRM and Power BI; work with automated reporting and digital engagement systems.
Qualifications
Required: University degree in medicine or pharmacy; compliance mindset; excellent Vietnamese communication and presentation skills.
Preferred: Experience in the pharmaceutical industry as KAM/KAE; experience in vaccines; good command of English (verbal, reading, writing).
