This pivotal role emphasizes dynamic leadership and the ability to build transformative relationships with the community and an influential Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will act as a crucial link between the organization and local communities, ensuring a deep and lasting impact. Responsibilities include enhancing the organization's visibility, forging robust connections with community leaders, businesses, and elected officials, as well as guiding a diverse and well-connected Board to support the mission of the organization. The Director will also inspire a high-performing team, cultivate a culture of inclusion and belonging, and lead the chapter's annual planning process. Successful candidates should possess a four-year college degree in a relevant field (Master's degree preferred) and have a minimum of 7 years of related experience. The role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in strategic planning, fundraising, and mission delivery. Exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have team collaboration experience, proficiency in MS Office, and a valid driver’s license. The Director will be expected to travel within the region and may need to work under challenging conditions.
