$105k - $120k Role Summary
The Division Team Lead is responsible for supervising, assisting and developing a team of Community Association Managers, including growing the team’s commitment to the organization and its clients. Responsibilities
Division Team Leadership (Approx. 75% of Role)
Team Development & Mentoring:
Supervise, coach, train, and mentor a team of 10-12 Portfolio Community Association Managers, fostering a culture of high performance and client commitment. Performance Management:
Lead weekly team huddles, plan, assign, and direct work; conduct performance appraisals; address HR concerns; and assist with complex problem‑solving solutions. Operational Oversight:
Review and approve monthly expense reports and PTO requests for your team. Hiring & Training:
Actively participate in the interviewing and hiring process for new managers, and provide/coordinate ongoing training on best practices, company policies, and procedures. Strategic Compliance:
Remain up‑to‑date on new regulations and industry best practices by participating in educational opportunities and professional networking through CAI and Vendor engagement opportunities. Meetings & Collaboration:
Facilitate monthly team meetings and attend weekly division leadership meetings. Community Association Management (Approx. 25% of Role)
Portfolio Management:
Manage a small, dedicated portfolio of communities, ensuring their financial health, legal compliance, and physical maintenance. Client & Homeowner Relations:
Serve as the trusted liaison, developing credible relationships with Boards and homeowners. Provide professional advice and oversight based on experience and expertise. Operational Execution:
Coordinate critical functions, including repairs, audits, inspections, fee collections, and rule enforcement. Administrative Excellence:
Provide timely and professional responses to your dedicated administrative professional who is the front line for client calls, and general inquiries. Experience / Skills
Management Experience:
2+ years
in a direct management, team lead, or supervisory role. Industry Expertise:
3-5 years
of hands‑on experience as a Community Association Manager. License and Designations:
Active Community Association Manager license along with your CMCA, and AMS. PCAM designation isn’t required but preferred.
