Supporting the creation and execution of high-impact publicity campaigns for top titles across genres including commercial fiction, mystery/thriller/suspense, rom-com/romantasy, narrative nonfiction, and celebrity. Responsibilities include: Assisting publicity staff on high-profile media campaigns for bestselling authors Pitching media outlets and booksellers Communicating with media, booksellers, in-house colleagues, authors, and agents Writing pitch materials and researching media targets Creating and managing author itineraries Updating internal documents, databases, and systems Coordinating mailings, publicity materials, and review copy requests Organizing travel and hotel logistics for tours and special events Processing invoices, maintaining campaign budgets, and assisting with data entry Conducting online research to build and update media lists Taking on additional assignments and projects as needed Qualifications

Strong interest in book publishing, publicity and media relations, and books across genres Deep familiarity with the media landscape across platforms, including digital, social, Substack/newsletters, and legacy outlets Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Self-starter who takes initiative and is eager to learn and grow Proficiency with social media, internet research, and Microsoft Office Suite Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is $51,000. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results. This hybrid position has occasional in-office responsibilities, including in-office meetings, author visits or events, and daily ad hoc administrative projects.
