This senior administrator will ensure a coordinated approach to development and public affairs, supporting the institution's strategic priorities. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, identifying and cultivating donor prospects, and developing a robust alumni giving program. The role also demands a high level of communication, strategic planning, and the ability to work effectively with diverse campus constituencies.

Applicants for the Vice President for Institutional Advancement position at the company should have a proven track record in development, with a preference for experience in higher education. The role requires a minimum of 10 years' experience in higher education fundraising or a related non-profit environment, and a minimum of 5 years in a senior administrative position. The ideal candidate will have a history of success in capital campaigns, be adept at managing a budget, and possess strong strategic planning and leadership skills. A Doctorate degree is preferred, but not required. The Vice President will be expected to have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a passion for relationship building and fundraising. Experience with online fundraising, social media, and a deep understanding of the legal aspects of fundraising are also essential.
