Responsible for accurately auditing (based upon purchase order review policy and guidelines), interpreting a customer purchase order and entering sales orders in our ERP system. Communicate discrepancy(ies) to appropriate internal team member(s) as needed. Maintains records, correspondence, and softcopy files. Monitor, manage, process a high volume of customer purchase orders received via email, EDI (electronic data interchange) and available via customer portals. Efficiency, accuracy and clear written communication are crucial in this role. Provides timely customer service and support to customers. Primary support is internal customers but can extend to external. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ability to manage and successfully complete a high volume of customer purchase order processing for extended periods of time with efficiency, accuracy and a sense or urgency. Seeks continuous improvements in processes, guidelines and customer service to gain departmental efficiency, improve customer satisfaction and customer response times. Areas of improvements identified would be presented with suggestions and next steps. Ability to have awareness to detail within high volume tasks that could increase revenue, reduce Amphenol Network Solutions’ cost or increase customer satisfaction. Creates and maintains customer contact information in database. Provides timely processing of customer purchase orders and internal Amphenol Network Solutions orders via email, EDI (electronic data interchange) and customer portals ensuring that the order process is swift, complete and accurate to the customer’s and Amphenol Network Solutions’ high standards. Following established procedures, examines and verifies documents for correctness, appropriateness and accuracy and follows up on discrepancies owned. Trigger Order Receipt Confirmations (ORC) for all purchases orders entered that are fully accepted. Updates and maintains customer purchase order and correspondences records in softcopy. Supports the continuous improvement, maintenance and success of Amphenol Network Solutions’ customer relationship management tool through the monitoring of new data, modifying of existing data and completion of identified tasks or projects. Keeps detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, inquiries and complaints and ensure that appropriate actions are being taken. Flexibility to change planned daily activities to accomplish task with immediate urgency, a short-term deadline in support of a customer commitment or company objective. Backs up other members of the inside sales team during peak periods or absences. Must be willing to work overtime as workload dictates and inside sales manager approves in advance. Assist in special projects and/or additional duties as assigned. Regular and predictable attendance is required. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

College-level coursework in business, marketing or a related field, plus two years related work experience. Basic sales, business, and finance skills required. LANGUAGE AND PEOPLE SKILLS

This employee must be able to move 25 pounds and must be able to sit and type for extended periods of time. WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position requires you to spend most of your time in an office environment. COMPENSATION

Pay Range:

$22-28 (annualized for all non MFG positions, even if hourly) Status:
