Job Description SUMMARY Oversees, directs and manages the college-wide recruitment strategy. Serves as a key member of the strategic enrollment management team. Leads the recruitment team and associated enrollment data, prospective student communication and events coordination with campus teams in effort to improve overall application and conversation rates at the college.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develops and executes comprehensive recruitment strategies aligned with College's enrollment goals and initiatives
Leads, mentors, and motivates a team of recruitment specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure the achievement of recruitment targets
Collaborates with academic departments/schools, student services, and other stakeholders to develop recruitment plans tailored to specific programs and student populations
Build relationships with local high schools, community organizations, businesses, and other stakeholders to promote Tri-C programs and opportunities
Collaborates with the Executive Director of Enrollment Management and Enrollment Operations on the development of marketing materials and campaigns to enhance College’s visibility and appeal to prospective students
Utilizes data analytics and market research to evaluate recruitment strategies, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize recruitment efforts
Collaborates with admissions staff to streamline the application and enrollment process, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective students
Implements initiatives to enhance diversity and inclusion within the student body, with a focus on recruiting underrepresented and underserved populations
Trains, mentors and supervises assigned staff
Stays current on relevant regulations and best practices in recruitment and enrollment management, ensuring compliance with applicable policies and guidelines
Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / TRAINING
Master’s Degree in Higher Education or related field
Significant related experience may substitute for education
Minimum of five years of experience in higher education services area with high-touch student services, such as admissions, financial aid, business services, retention programs, or in student affairs
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Proven leadership skills and ability to foster a team environment and work collaboratively
Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service
Strong results-orientation
Understanding of enrollment and recruitment services performance metrics, and ability to analyze data to inform practice
Experience working with high schools, corporate and community agencies
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with all levels of staff and leadership
Strong event planning and facilitation experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office software applications
Possess sensitivity to appropriately respond to the needs of students and the community

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS
The work is performed in a normal, professional office environment;
The work area is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated;
Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the duties of the job and will perform repetitive motions with hands/fingers using a computer mouse and keyboard to type. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, pamphlets, books, etc.;
Work may also require walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the worksite
Employees must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds unassisted.
This position requires the ability to travel to remote locations and to load and transport admissions materials, displays and other equipment.
Some evening and weekend hours required, especially during the peak admissions/recruitment season and in the absence of Recruitment Specialists.
Target Starting Salary Range $75,000 to $85,000
The final offer for the successful candidate is targeted to fall within this range, but will be based upon an assessment of internal equity, the unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications in relation to the minimum and/or preferred job requirement(s).
Special Note If hired, you must reside in the state of Ohio and be within commuting distance of this work location/campus to respond to onsite work demands upon the employment start date and throughout the duration of your employment with the College, as outlined in 3354:1-40-01.1 Recruitment and Selection Procedure.
