
The
Sales Design Consultant
combines consultative sales expertise with design-oriented solutions to help clients identify, customize, and purchase products or services that best meet their needs. This role is responsible for building strong customer relationships, understanding client requirements, developing tailored design recommendations, and driving revenue growth. The position operates in a fully remote environment and requires excellent communication, creativity, and sales acumen.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand customer needs, preferences, and project goals
Develop customized design solutions and product recommendations aligned with client requirements
Prepare and present design proposals, presentations, and pricing options
Manage client relationships from initial consultation through closing and follow-up
Meet or exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and customer satisfaction metrics
Collaborate with internal design, operations, and fulfillment teams to ensure successful project execution
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and sales activities in CRM systems
Stay informed on industry trends, design innovations, and competitor offerings
Provide exceptional customer service to encourage repeat business and referrals
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Sales, Interior Design, Architecture, Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5 years of experience
in consultative sales, design consulting, or customer-facing design roles
Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to interpret customer needs and translate them into practical design solutions
Proficiency with CRM tools, virtual meeting platforms, and productivity software
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple client projects remotely
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in home design, interior design, architectural products, or design-driven sales industries
Familiarity with design software or visualization tools
Experience selling customized or high-value solutions
Prior remote sales or virtual consultation experience
Compensation
Annual Base Salary Range:
$90,000 – $130,000 USD , based on experience and location
