The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for fostering a positive, compliant, and productive work environment by supporting employees and leadership on workplace relations matters. This role manages employee concerns, conducts workplace investigations, and ensures compliance with company policies and employment laws. The position operates fully remotely and requires strong communication, discretion, and conflict resolution skills.

This position is strictly limited to candidates who currently reside in the United States and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will be rejected.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations issues, policies, and workplace practices

Investigate employee complaints, grievances, and workplace concerns in a fair and timely manner

Provide guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, and corrective action processes

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws

Maintain confidential and accurate employee relations documentation and case files

Partner with HR leadership and legal teams on complex employee issues

Support policy interpretation, communication, and implementation across the organization

Assist in developing training programs related to employee relations and workplace conduct

Identify trends in employee concerns and recommend proactive solutions to improve organizational culture

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field

3–5 years of experience in employee relations, HR generalist, or human resources roles

Strong understanding of U.S. labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices

Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills

Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment

Compensation:

Annual Salary Range: $70,000 – $95,000 USD, based on experience, qualifications, and geographic location
