Job Description
Clinic Hours Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM-8:00 PM Saturday-Sunday: 8:00 AM-6:00 PM Open on Holidays
Schedule 36 hours per week, consisting of 10-12 hour onsite shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Overview This is a high-volume Urgent Care environment that requires effective patient interaction and the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Provide professional patient greetings and customer service. Register patients in the EMR system. Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and support in-clinic needs. Communicate effectively with clinic staff and other locations. Preferred Skills Strong verbal and written communication, including collaboration with other sites via Teams. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to quickly learn and use multiple systems (EMR, insurance eligibility tools, Treasury applications). Additional Duties Respond to patient inquiries via phone and email. Assess the appropriate method for issue resolution in accordance with patient needs and organizational guidelines. Coordinate with other departments as needed. Collect and enter patient demographic and billing information for scheduling and database accuracy. Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; no prior experience necessary. Knowledge of medical terminology and medical coding preferred. Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute. Proficient computer skills required. About Us
