Position Leasing Consultant

– The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations for a property.

Responsibilities

Property leasing and administration

Regular/daily onsite attendance is required

Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour the community, and sign a lease

Close sales by generating leads, conducting tours, maintaining model units, and completing follow-up

Complete all leasing paperwork before move-in

Assist with lease audits, walk units, and turn processes

Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data; respond to prospect leads within 24 hours

Utilize established sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic and achieve leasing goals

Perform various administrative tasks as needed

Address resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure satisfaction

Assist in developing and implementing resident retention programs (e.g., events, promotions, monthly newsletter)

Help with general upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas, and model

Marketing and outreach: assist in implementing annual marketing plan outreach and conduct market surveys/analyses

Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property, competition, and market conditions; complete weekly market survey report

Customer and resident relations: manage excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround

Project a favorable image of the community to meet property objectives and public recognition

Enforce community policies as delegated by the supervisor

Education/Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required

Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements

Physical Requirements

Regularly move about to accomplish tasks; communicate with others; and perform repetitive motions

Frequently ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps; may remain in a stationary position for extended periods

Occasionally move in different positions to work in various environments; able to lift or move objects up to 25 lbs.

Work overtime, weekends, and night hours as needed for emergencies; work in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions

Compensation and benefits

Salary Range: $20 per hour to $23 per hour

Compensation decisions consider skill set, background, training, and certifications
