What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the assigned territory
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with prospective customersBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to understand their needs and drive incremental revenue
Manage territory activities including prospecting, lead generation, and sales forecasting
Stay informed about industry trends and customer needs to inform sales strategies
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of two (2) years of proven successful sales experience in telephone sales, personal selling, and customer service
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
Strong understanding of sales techniques, negotiation skills, and closing strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly
Proficiency with MS Office software and CRM technology
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience in the educational publishing industry or related sales experience
Familiarity with customer relationship management systems
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across various levels of an organization
