Our client is the IT and technology staffing division of a long-standing staffing organization. While the broader firm is stable and profitable, this division is a clean slate — minimal revenue, no bench, and no momentum. For the right leader, that means low competition, a low bar to win, and full ownership of the outcome.

We’re hiring a Managing Director to build an IT staffing business from zero, with full P&L ownership and the autonomy to define what success looks like.

What You Will Do

  • Build and execute a sales-first growth strategy for IT staffing
  • Personally prospect, sell, and close early deals to establish credibility
  • Hire, ramp, and develop initial sales and recruiting talent
  • Create accurate forecasting and pipeline discipline from Day 1
  • Build a focused, profitable book of business (15–20 consultants target)
  • Own full P&L responsibility, including margin and cost control
  • Restore trust, transparency, and execution rigor in the division

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven IT staffing sales leader with build-from-scratch experience
  • Strong individual seller who can also coach and develop others
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and ramp talent

Required Education / Experience

  • 7+ years in IT / technology staffing
