Position Overview The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for outbound prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline development. This role centers on initiating conversations with decision‑makers, identifying qualified opportunities, and scheduling consultations for VCPG leadership.

This is not a telemarketing role. The BDR represents a premium security brand and must operate with professionalism, consistency, and strong communication skills.

This is a base salary plus commission position. The commission structure will be explained in detail during the in‑person interview process.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct consistent outbound phone outreach to prospective clients.

Develop strategic email campaigns and follow‑up sequences.

Research organizations, properties, and key decision‑makers.

Identify and qualify new business opportunities.

Schedule discovery meetings for executive leadership.

Maintain accurate CRM documentation and activity tracking.

Meet daily, weekly, and monthly outreach benchmarks.

Provide market feedback and competitive insights to leadership.

Represent VCPG’s brand values in all communications.

Target Client Segments

Corporate offices and executive teams.

Educational campuses.

Residential and estate properties.

Event venues and private gatherings.

High‑net‑worth individuals and family offices.

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or appointment setting.

Strong verbal communication skills with executive‑level presence.

Professional written communication skills.

Comfort with structured daily call and email targets.

Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar preferred).

Self‑motivated, organized, and performance‑driven.

Experience in B2B services, facilities management, security, or related industries is a plus.

Compensation Structure This position includes:

Competitive base salary.

Performance‑based commission.
