Commercial Estimator

Commercial Estimator $50,000-$70,000 Baton Rouge, LA Were looking for a Commercial Estimator who wants real ownership. This role goes beyond just pricing jobs. Youll drive high-value commercial bids, shape strategy, work directly with leadership, and see your estimates turn into built projects. Youll manage projects from plan review to contract handoff. That means reviewing drawings and specs, completing take-offs, building competitive pricing, aligning scope with contractors and vendors, and presenting proposals to our executive team before submission. Youll also handle contract review, submittals, and work closely with purchasing to lock in materials, pricing, and delivery timelines. Tools include Measure Square, Jobrunner, Spec-ID, MS Teams, and more. What were looking for: Experience estimating commercial construction projects Strong ability to read plans and specs Detail-oriented, organized, deadline-driven Clear communicator with both internal teams and external partners Comfortable with estimating and project management software This is a high-visibility role inside a strong preconstruction team, with direct exposure to leadership and clear processes in place.
