The
MEP Estimator
is responsible for independently preparing mechanical, HVAC, and/or plumbing estimates, technical proposals, cost models, and risk analyses for complex institutional and mission-critical projects.

What you need to bring to the table: 3-5 years of estimating experience in the MEP disciplines (Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing). Experience does not need to be exclusively mechanical—strong plumbing or HVAC estimating experience is equally valuable.
What we expect of you:
Lead estimating efforts on assigned projects from kickoff through proposal delivery
Perform detailed take-offs across mechanical, piping, HVAC, and plumbing scopes
Conduct cost modeling, labor analysis, system comparisons, and historical evaluations
Assist in risk evaluation, contingency modeling, and value engineering
Document, Design & Constructability Review
Analyze plans, specifications, addenda, and coordination drawings
Identify scope gaps, risk factors, and constructability issues
Work with design/build teams on system selection, design‑assist efforts, and feasibility reviews
Solicit, review, and level subcontractor proposals
Assist in procurement, vendor buyouts, and material pricing strategy
Participate in internal and client-facing estimate reviews
Provide technical insight to Business Development and Project Management teams
Contribute to scheduling, phasing, and logistical planning
