Sales Support Coordinator Job Description
LC Marketing is a hands‑on food retail brokerage and marketing partner with over 50 years of industry relationships. We work alongside emerging and established food brands to bring products to market across major retailers including Costco, Walmart, Kroger, convenience, and specialty channels.
Our team supports brands beyond sales — including packaging, retail readiness, logistics coordination, item setup, and marketing execution. We operate as an extension of our partners’ teams and are known for being responsive, detail‑oriented, and deeply collaborative.
Role Overview We are searching for a highly organized and proactive
Sales Operations Coordinator
with
food retail or CPG experience
to help manage the details that keep retail programs moving.
This role supports coordination between vendors, retailers, and the LC Marketing team — ensuring item setup is accurate, purchase orders are tracked, samples arrive on time, and communication stays clear across stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is detail‑obsessed, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment where priorities shift and accuracy matters.
Key Responsibilities Item Setup & Retail Readiness
Assist vendors with item setup or own item set up process across retailers and distributor systems
Coordinate collection of product specs, pricing, case packs, and compliance details
Maintain accurate SKU records and internal trackers
Support retail launch preparation and updates
Help track and follow up on purchase orders with vendors and logistics partners
Support the sales team with administrative needs tied to retail programs
Assist with order coordination and timeline communication
Ensure documentation and information remain organized and accessible
Communicate with vendors and manufacturers to gather required information and updates
Support ongoing relationship coordination and follow‑up
Help keep timelines and deliverables aligned across partners
Sample Management
Coordinate sample requests for buyer meetings, internal reviews, and trade shows
Manage shipping, tracking, and delivery confirmation
Maintain sample logs and assist with inventory organization
Administrative & Operational Support
Maintain organized shared documents, trackers, and files
Assist with meeting preparation and follow‑up tasks
Support operational needs that help maintain sales momentum and execution quality
Qualifications
Required:
Experience in food retail, CPG, brokerage, distribution, or manufacturing support
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Highly organized with strong follow‑through and responsiveness
Clear, professional communication skills across vendors, retailers, and internal teams
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, shared trackers, and documentation management
Ability to work proactively and anticipate needs in a fast‑moving environment
Retail & Industry Systems Experience (Must Have) Experience working with
one or more
of the following retailer, distributor, or execution platforms:
Costco
Costco item setup documentation and submission processes
Vendor portals and compliance documentation
Experience supporting Costco sample coordination or buyer requests
Retail Link
Item 360
Kroger / Albertsons & Grocery
Kroger VIP / item maintenance processes
Retailer portal submission and data coordination
General CPG / Broker Tools
GS1 / UPC coordination
Syndigo, 1WorldSync, or similar product content platforms
