Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies across manufacturing operations.
Identify process inefficiencies, waste, and bottlenecks through data analysis, value stream mapping, and direct observation.
Drive and manage continuous improvement projects from conception to completion, ensuring measurable results and alignment with strategic goals.
Train, coach, and mentor employees at all levels in continuous improvement principles and tools to foster a culture of operational excellence.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, sustain improvements, and report on the financial impact of CI initiatives.
Facilitate cross-functional teams to solve complex operational problems using structured problem-solving techniques.
Develop and maintain standardized work procedures and best practices to ensure consistency and prevent recurrence of issues.
Recommended Qualifications
5+ years of experience in continuous improvement roles within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated expertise in Lean methodologies (e.g., VSM, 5S, Kaizen, Standard Work).
Proven ability to lead and manage complex improvement projects and cross-functional teams.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
Bonus Qualifications
Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) or data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R).
Experience implementing specific manufacturing optimization frameworks (e.g., Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Theory of Constraints (TOC)).
Certification in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
