We Search People are happily working with a Commercial General Contractor that has a strong pipeline of work and are now on the look out to bring in a Construction Superintendent. Position Overview
The Commercial Construction Superintendent oversees day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects. This role manages subcontractors, coordinates schedules, ensures safety compliance, and drives projects to successful on-time, on-budget completion while maintaining quality standards. The Superintendent works closely with project management, clients, and field teams to ensure smooth execution from mobilization through closeout. Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily on-site construction activities, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence. Manage subcontractors, labor, and materials to meet project requirements. Coordinate with project management, clients, and design teams to resolve field issues. Monitor project schedules and adjust resources to maintain timelines. Conduct regular site inspections, enforce safety protocols, and ensure compliance. Facilitate project closeout, punch lists, and turnover to owners or operations teams. Track project progress, costs, and reporting for leadership review.
