Our client, a leader in financial tax software, is looking to hire a Field Marketing & Events Specialist. This is a hybrid role that will be onsite 3x per week in San Diego, CA.
This job is a 6-month W2 contract role with benefits & paid holidays!
As a Field Marketing & Events Specialist, you will bridge the gap between high-level go-to-market strategy and regional execution, driving event logistics, localized programs, and customer moments to create and accelerate pipeline. You will partner directly with Sales leadership to design activation plans that reach the right accounts, deliver the right messages, and convert engagement into revenue.
Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end planning and execution of field activation marketing for mid-market customers, collaborating with Demand Generation team for strategy and impact planning
Utilize swag and incorporate direct mail campaigns into events, developing follow-up plans to break into target accounts and accelerate opportunities
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Nurture teams to design event specific engagement plans, and drive the disciplined follow-up required to convert participation into pipeline
Analyze recommendations from field performance to inform future campaign designs, regional investment decisions, and ensure leads are captured and passed to Sales
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in B2B field marketing and/or B2B event management, including live and experiential events
Working experience with Sales teams to generate prospects & leads, leveraging tools such as Salesforce, Sendoso, Cvent, etc.
Industry experience with B2B marketing or SaaS marketing
Desired Skills & Experience
Prior experience in SaaS or tech industries strongly preferred!
